High Extinction 3D
High Extinction 3D is the latest in our line of premium quality water-based acrylic coating systems for projection surfaces. In common with our ground-breaking Ultra Silver 3D coatings, currently in use with the largest 3D attraction/screen in the world: The King Kong 3D ride and theme park at Universal Studios, Hollywood, our High Extinction 3D coatings allow stereoscopic projection to move beyond the rectangle and create a truly immersive projected environment.
The Screen Goo High Extinction 3D returns almost twice as much light as our standard Ultra Silver 3D coatings thus allowing for even larger attractions to be created with a given projector light output. In addition High Extinction 3D features an even higher extinction ratio as our standard Ultra Silver 3D coating resulting in extremely low cross-talk and minimal ghosting!
To create an Ultra Silver 3D or a High Extinction 3D Goo Screen you will need to apply (Spray Only) two Max Contrast Reflective Coats and either two Ultra Silver 3D or High Extinction 3D Finish Coats.
